Implementation Assistance
Our Approach
A project truly comes to life during the implementation phase. WCG’s hands-on, process-focused approach allows us to deliver optimal solutions for our clients that leverage the core functionality of the selected software while avoiding costly delays and unneeded system modifications. Our implementation assistance services are delivered with a continuous improvement mindset as we serve as our client’s advocate in business process design and technology integration.
How we help
Implementation Assistance Services
Technology Deployment Plan
Transcribe the critical goals, objectives, and value drivers that were defined at the start of the project into a phase-by-phase detailed project scope, approach, and execution plan, including milestones and go-live preparation, as part of the Technology Deployment Plan.
Business Process Translation to System Configuration
Translate and optimize business processes and system configuration to best fit our client’s needs and the selected software offering.
System & Integration Architectural Design
Convert Functional Requirements, Technical Requirements, and client-specific Improvement Opportunities into “To Be” process documents and integrate them into the System & Integration Architectural Design documents.
Data Conversion & Validation
Assist with data mapping and lead data conversion validation, including data quality checks and multi-level audits, during the planning, development, testing, and go-live stages.
Functional Testing
Functional Testing includes isolating individual modules and testing them to validate that they work as expected and, in the process, identify defects and any needed code changes. WCG will collaborate with the vendor to intertwine the client-specific requirements into unit test scripts for testing core system functionality.
System Integration Testing
System Integration Testing (SIT) is required to certify that all the modules work as expected once they have been integrated and tests for a logical flow from one module to another. WCG will support the client team in identifying and developing exhaustive, custom test scenarios and scripts, along with a logical testing schedule. These test scripts will intertwine client-specific processes and one-off variances discovered and documented throughout the earlier stages of the project.
User Acceptance Testing
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is conducted to ensure end-to-end business flow. The need for UAT arises once the application has undergone Functional Testing and System Integration Testing to ensure the business and end-user requirements are met thoroughly before the application is rolled out into production. UAT will mirror our client’s day-to-day operations and test real-life processes from beginning to end. WCG will develop the UAT Plan, organize the processes and test scripts to be run, and lead in the comparative analyses to ensure that the test system results match the current, legacy system results.
Requirement Tracing & Validation
Trace the selected vendor’s RFP requirement responses in all project phases to ensure successful delivery of requested and committed functionality and validate that all Functional & Technical Requirements have been met.
Data Analytics
Extract, analyze, and interpret data to generate meaningful and actionable business insights and guide strategic objectives.
Report Development
Scope and develop reports and dashboards, aimed at streamlining reporting and reducing inefficiencies to improve business processes and the customer experience.
On-Going Stabilization
Utilize the period following a successful implementation, including system acceptance by our client, for On-Going Stabilization to validate that they are fully equipped to support the solution, including evaluating and consuming consistent updates / upgrades of future technology releases, identifying ongoing process enhancements, highlighting future Improvement Opportunities, and inherently promoting a continuous improvement culture.
